We are currently looking for tutors to travel to students’ homes in your neighborhood for one-on-one tutoring which involves clarifying and teaching subject matter, as well as assessing the student’s knowledge and skills on an ongoing basis. We are looking for tutors who care about the progress of our students and who can teach them to have a positive relationship with learning.


Tutor Doctor is seeking reliable individuals with a passion for education to join our team of phenomenal tutors in Chilliwack.

What We're Looking For:

Elementary level Tutors: grades K - 7 all subjects (French included)

Highschool level Tutors: grades 10 - 12 math (pre-calculus, foundations, calculus) , English, French, physics, chemistry, biology

Special Needs Tutors with experience including FASD, ASD, ADHD etc...: grades K - 12 all subjects

Compensation:
Hourly rate of $18 - $25 per hour based on qualifications and experience; and also depending on subjects and grade levels tutoring in.

Requirements

  • Someone who is in (or has completed) at least two years of Canadian post-secondary education
  • Ability to travel to student’s homes 
  • Knowledge of teaching techniques and learning styles
  • Tutoring experience (formal or informal)
  • Coaching or mentoring is okay too! 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Dependability and professionalism
  • Valid BC Drivers License
