We are now looking for *Education Consultants* in Surrey & Langley  to join our growing team. This role is a permanent and part-time. Casual work that can be done in addition to a full-time job. You can expect to work 5 - 18 hours a week depending on the season, typically, evenings or weekends. Perfect for someone looking to earn some extra income. 


The Educational Consultant visits students and their families to determine educational needs, personality, learning style, scheduling, and make recommendations for in-home tutoring support. After an assessment and recommendations, the consultant will complete paperwork to enroll the student in a tutoring program and submit the documents to the home office. Consultations are booked by the Tutor Doctor's office, training is provided. This is a contract position that offers independent work, flexible part-time hours, and works outside the home office. Consultations usually occur outside school hours in the evenings and Saturdays as that is when families are available.


Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed closing sales objectives

  • Conduct successful in-home consultations as per guidelines

  • Nurture leads post-consultation by following up

  • Accurate and complete reporting through forms and CRM

Job requirements

  • Knowledge of the Canadian education system and learning styles

  • Sales experience

  • Teaching experience

  • Past experience tutoring/teaching/counselling/working with children

  • Fluent in English & Punjabi

  • Flexible and excellent people skills

  • Passion for education

  • Charismatic and outgoing personality

  • Empathy and care for students and families

  • Integrity, dependability, and credibility

  • Very high communication skills and emotional IQ.

  • Driver's license and good driving record

  • Must have own car

  • Minimum of 3 nights a week, and one weekend day availability

  • Personal maturity to be able to connect to and communicate with parents 

  • Criminal record check
